March 2019 Outreach Project
So we don’t coincide with Easter Lilies, we will be taking donations in March for the purchase of Pentecost geraniums. As in past years, we will purchase these plants via the Parma Council of PTA’s Scholarship Program. Once we actually purchase and receive these flowers, they will be planted throughout the grounds to beautify the church and, let’s be honest, feed some of God’s creatures.
Please take note: if you would like to place personal orders for geraniums from this enriching program, order forms will be made available in April. Thank you for your continued support for All Saints Outreach.
April 2019 Outreach Project
April is National Autism Awareness Month. We will raise $250 to add 10 Big Red Safety Box Toolkits to the National Autism Association's Big Red Box Program. The Big Red Safety Box is a free-of-charge toolkit given to autism families in need, as a means to educate, raise awareness, and provide simple tools that assist in preventing, and responding to, wandering-related emergencies.
Typically the NAA funds 5,000 boxes per year. Stock is now depleted (except for a small inventory of emergency & high risk cases) and the plan is to get the program restocked and available in May.
