 SAINT
JAMES THE GREAT:
The shell is used to refer to this apostle as a symbol of pilgrimage. He
is the patron saint of Spain and of pilgrims. His beheading by Herod is
recorded in Acts 12:1-2.

SAINT VLADIMIR:
The patron saint of Russia was an ardent promoter of Christianity and built
many churches and monasteries. His symbol is the cross of the Eastern Church.
Donated by Doris Angus Mancuso in thanksgiving for husband and family.
SAINT JOHN:
This emblem of the "beloved disciple" refers to an attempt on
his life. The poison departed in the form of a snake and he remained unharmed.

OLIVE:
The olive stands for peace, harmony and healing.
