CROWN:
The crown represents All Saints because it is used as a symbol for many
different saints. It represents sanctity or holiness because the nimbus
or halo of a saint can be seen as a type of crown. The
inscription "sanctus" refers to the chant "holy, holy, holy".
CHI RHO:
Chi and rho are the first two letters of the Greek word for Christ, which
in combination give the form of a cross. They can also appear to spell the
Latin word "pax" which means "peace". The palms represent
the triumph of the martyr over death.
RAYED HAND:
This symbol for All Saints, a rayed hand of God, signifies divine care over
the souls of the righteous.
IVY:
Ivy symbolizes eternal life because of its eternal green color and fidelity
because of the manner in which it-clings to a support.
